Jonathan Rubini

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JL Properties

Jonathan B Rubini is a founder and principal of JL Properties, Inc., and serves as the companies Chairman and CEO. Mr. Rubini is actively engaged in all aspects of JL endeavors, with a special emphasis on the negotiation and structuring of complex development and investment projects.

Mr. Rubini obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University in 1981 and his Jurist Doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkley in 1977. Mr. Rubini served as law clerk to the Justice Allen Compton of the Alaska Supreme Court, served as an Assistant Attorney General and then entered into private practice. In 1997 Mr. Rubini was one of the founders of the firm Foster Pepper Rubini & Reeves where he practiced until 2004. In addition to a robust general practice Mr. Rubini's specialties include election law, administrative law, public contracts and legislative law.

Leonard B Hyde

President of JL Properties

Leonard B Hyde is a founder and principal of JL Properties, Inc., and serves as the company’s President. Mr. Hyde is actively engaged in all aspects of JL endeavors and is the company’s principal property manager responsible for a portfolio with a current value in excess of $1 Billion. Mr. Hyde is also the principal manager responsible for the company’s professional, management and maintenance staff of more than 120 employees.

In 1979, Mr. Hyde received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Vanderbilt University. Prior to embarking on his real estate career, he served as an engineer with ARCO Alaska, specializing in facility economic evaluation, exploration and development of new oil fields and development planning for existing fields. Mr. Hyde joined Jack White Company in 1991, becoming one of Alaska’s leading commercial real estate brokers, specializing in large apartment complexes and office buildings.
